Luminary Event Solutions is a premier event management firm delivering transformative experiences for brands and organizations across corporate conferences, product launches, and hybrid engagements. We are seeking a Senior Event Manager to lead high-impact events from concept to execution, ensuring flawless delivery, exceptional quality, and measurable impact.
As a client-facing leader, you will translate briefs into bold concepts, assemble cross-functional teams, and drive seamless on-site delivery. This role blends strategic planning with meticulous operations and budget stewardship in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end event lifecycle for 20+ events annually, from brief through post-event evaluation.
- Develop event concepts, programs, and run-of-show manuscripts; present compelling proposals to clients.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and vendor contracts; negotiate favorable terms and ensure fiscal accountability.
- Oversee on-site operations including staff management, venue logistics, AV, catering, and transportation.
- Coordinate with marketing, sponsorships, PR, and client stakeholders to optimize attendee experience and brand impact.
- Ensure compliance with safety, accessibility, and risk management standards; implement robust contingency planning.
- Deliver post-event analysis, reporting, and knowledge transfer to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop junior planners; foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in events management, marketing, hospitality, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive event management experience, including large-scale conferences, product launches, or hybrid events.
- Proven budget management and vendor negotiation skills with track record of cost controls and value creation.
- Strong leadership and client-facing communication; ability to manage cross-functional teams under tight timelines.
- Proficiency with event management software, CRM systems, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to travel as needed and accommodate flexible hours based on event schedules.
- Knowledge of safety, accessibility, compliance, and risk management practices for live and hybrid events.
