Lumina Events Group is a premier event management agency delivering corporate, social, and experiential events worldwide. We are seeking an accomplished Event Manager in New York City to lead end-to-end events from concept to execution.
This role blends strategic planning with hands-on leadership to create unforgettable experiences for clients and attendees.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end planning for conferences, galas, product launches, and experiential events.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor spend and ROI.
- Source, negotiate, and manage vendors, venues, and third-party contractors.
- Partner with clients to define objectives, branding, and attendee experience.
- Oversee on-site logistics, staffing, and risk management during events.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across marketing, AV, catering, and operations.
- Provide post-event analysis, reporting, and debriefs for continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in event management, communications, marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate event planning or agency setting.
- Proven vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience managing multi-day conferences and large-scale live events.
- Proficiency with event management software (Cvent, Eventbrite) and MS Office; budget tooling is a plus.
- Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends as required.
