Join Zenith Events Agency as an experienced Event Manager in New York City, leading end-to-end planning for corporate conferences, product launches, and charity galas. You will partner with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver memorable experiences on time and within budget. As the core owner of event execution, you will drive creative concepting, rigorous project management, and flawless production across all touchpoints, from venues and catering to AV and on-site operations. Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of 6-12 events per year, from scoping and budgeting to post-event evaluation.
- Manage venue sourcing, vendor contracts, on-site operations, and production logistics to ensure seamless delivery.
- Develop detailed event timelines, production schedules, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
- Partner with marketing, sponsorship, and client services to align events with brand strategy and objectives.
- Oversee budgeting, vendor invoicing, and cost optimization while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate on-site teams, guest services, safety, and accessibility requirements for a superior attendee experience.
- Produce post-event reporting, attendee feedback analysis, and recommendations for future improvements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on event planning and production experience, with a proven track record of corporate or charitable events.
- Strong vendor network, negotiation skills, and contract management experience.
- Excellent budgeting, financial reporting, and vendor management capabilities.
- Outstanding communication, client management, and team leadership skills.
- Proficiency with event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) and project management tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed and work flexible hours, including weekends.
