Join Aurora Events Group, a premium event management agency shaping unforgettable experiences across corporate, social, and experiential events. We are seeking a detail-oriented Event Manager to lead end-to-end planning, vendor partnerships, and flawless on-site execution in the New York market.
You will collaborate with clients, creative teams, and operations staff to deliver scalable and memorable events that align with brands and goals.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end event planning from concept through post-event evaluation.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships; negotiate contracts to maximize value.
- Oversee on-site operations, logistics, risk management, and compliance.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define program objectives and attendee experience.
- Select and manage venues, vendors, and production partners; ensure quality and safety standards.
- Create detailed run-of-show and communication plans; coordinate with sponsors and stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor junior team members; drive a high-performance event culture.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in events management, hospitality, marketing, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on event planning experience, with a proven track record of corporate or experiential events.
- Strong project management, budgeting, and vendor negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and stakeholder management abilities.
- On-site event execution capabilities; ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
- Proficiency with event management platforms (e.g., Cvent, Bizzabo) and CRM tools; proficient in MS Office.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends/evenings as needed.
