Luminary Events & Experiences is a leading experiential marketing agency specializing in corporate conferences, product launches, and large-scale events. We are seeking a driven Event Manager in New York City to lead end-to-end event execution for our impressive roster of clients.
You will partner with clients, creatives, and operations teams to design, plan, and deliver memorable, high-impact experiences that align with brand objectives and budgets.
As a pivotal member of our events team, you will manage timelines, vendors, logistics, and on-site execution, ensuring flawless experiences from kickoff to post-event analysis.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end event planning from concept to execution for conferences, product launches, and experiential campaigns.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to maximize ROI.
- Manage relationships with vendors, venues, sponsors, and partners to secure favorable terms.
- Coordinate logistics, production, registration, staffing, and on-site supervision during events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align program objectives with brand strategy.
- Implement risk management plans and contingency protocols to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyze event success through metrics and post-event reporting, presenting insights to clients.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in live events, conferences, or corporate activations.
- Strong vendor negotiation, contract management, and supplier onboarding skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a client-focused mindset.
- Proficiency with event management software, CRM tools, and MS Office; familiarity with budgeting tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
