We are seeking an energetic Events, Operations Manager to keep every moving part aligned—from planning through on-site execution. This is a hands-on leadership role that bridges the production team, logistics partners, and vendors to deliver flawless events in Kelana Jaya and beyond.

In this role you will own end-to-end event operations, develop timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, negotiate vendor contracts, and track budgets with precision. You will be the central point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, translating high-level concepts into actionable plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies. You will ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards are upheld while maintaining an exceptional level of organization under pressure.

Responsibility

  • Own end-to-end event operations, including planning, scheduling, logistics, and on-site execution.
  • Align cross-functional teams from production, creative, logistics, and client services to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Manage vendor procurement, contracts, performance, and relationships to quality standards.
  • Oversee budget forecasting, expense tracking, and cost control with accurate reporting.
  • Develop robust project timelines, checklists, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
  • Ensure on-site safety, compliance, and flawless guest experience during events.
  • Lead post-event debriefs, metrics collection, and process improvements for continuous optimization.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in events management, marketing, communications or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years in events operations, production, or live events; experience with large-scale programs is a plus.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; customer-service oriented.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Trello, MS Project) and MS Office; data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed; comfortable on-site during events.
