Responsibility
- Lead menu concept development, seasonal tasting menus, and cross-cultural recipe creation.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring timely, high-quality plate execution.
- Manage food cost, labor, and inventory to meet financial targets.
- Mentor, train, and develop kitchen staff; foster a collaborative, inclusive culture.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with front-of-house leadership to deliver world-class guest experiences.
- Maintain quality control, plate presentation standards, and vendor relationships.
- Drive sustainability initiatives and kitchen innovation projects.
Qualification
- Minimum 8-10 years kitchen leadership experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality.
- Proven track record in menu development and costing; ability to create seasonal menus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills.
- Expert knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high-volume service.
- Proficiency in inventory management and vendor negotiation.
- Pastry or charcuterie specialization is a plus but not required.
- Bilingual or multicultural experience is a plus.
