Join MAMEE, a leading FMCG manufacturer known for quality and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Executive, Shipping for a contract-based role based in Melaka. This position plays a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and optimizing end-to-end shipping and logistics operations to ensure on-time delivery to customers and efficient supply chain performance.
As the Executive, Shipping, you will partner with internal teams including procurement, production, warehouse, and sales to align shipping schedules with demand, manage carrier relationships, and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards. You will drive continuous improvements in transit times, cost control, and service levels while maintaining meticulous records, KPI reporting, and accurate documentation for customs and shipments.

Responsibility
- Own end to end shipping planning, scheduling and execution to ensure on time delivery to customers across domestic and international channels.
- Coordinate with internal teams including procurement, production, warehouse and sales to align demand, capacity and routing.
- Manage carrier selection, rate negotiation, performance monitoring and SLAs with logistics providers.
- Monitor import export compliance, documentation and customs clearance including HS codes and duties handling.
- Track key logistics KPIs such as OTIF, transit times, freight costs and inventory accuracy; implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead risk management for transportation, handle exceptions and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate shipping records, invoicing support and audit trails for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business or related field.
- 4-6+ years of experience in shipping or logistics, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of import export processes, incoterms and customs compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP and WMS systems such as SAP or Oracle; strong Excel skills.
- Analytical mindset with data driven decision making and problem solving.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and manage contract based roles with reliability.
