We are seeking an experienced Executive, Warehouse to oversee daily warehouse operations at our Pasir Gudang facility. Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
- Lead a team of warehouse staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, conduct coaching, and ensure safety, accuracy, and quality across all tasks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's WMS/SAP or equivalent system; perform regular cycle counts and reconcile variances.
- Coordinate with production planning, procurement, and distribution to optimize material flow and reduce lead times.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, space utilization, and order accuracy; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, housekeeping standards, and environmental guidelines; conduct trainings and audits as needed.
- Monitor key performance indicators (inventory accuracy, order cycle time, fill rate, on-time shipments) and prepare actionable reports for management.
- Assist in budgeting, resource planning, and cost control for warehouse operations; identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service levels.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes; familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Proven leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities; proactive, results-driven, and customer-focused mindset.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; forklift certification or professional safety training is advantageous; fluency in English; Malay language proficiency is a plus.
