Join Lumen & Loom Collective, a premium fashion label redefining modern luxury. We are seeking a creative and data-driven Fashion Merchandiser to lead product assortments and optimize seasonal strategies for our NYC flagship and e-commerce platforms.
In this role you will partner with design, production, and marketing teams to translate trends into compelling, commercial collections while maintaining brand integrity and profitability. You will own assortment planning, vendor relations, and cross-functional calendars to ensure timely delivery of seasonal lines.

Responsibility
- Lead seasonal assortment planning and buy strategies aligned with brand direction and financial targets.
- Analyze sales data, trend insights, and customer feedback to optimize product mix and pricing.
- Collaborate with design, sourcing, and production teams to manage calendars, lead times, and material availability.
- Develop cross-channel merchandising plans for stores and e-commerce, including product storytelling and on-model presentation.
- Monitor inventory, markdowns, and performance to maximize GMROI and minimize stockouts.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships; negotiate terms and secure exclusive or premium placements.
- Prepare and present seasonal assortment recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of fashion merchandising, retail planning, or product strategy experience.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data-driven decision making.
- Solid understanding of trends, fabrications, pricing, and assortment planning.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation abilities.
- Experience with merchandising software and retail systems; familiarity with ERP/PLM tools.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 15% as needed.
