Join Lumen Atelier, a forward-thinking fashion house known for modern luxury. We seek a Senior Fashion Designer to lead design direction, collaborate with product and production teams, and shape a cohesive seasonal narrative that resonates with discerning customers.
Location: Paris, France. Salary: €40k-€60k + benefits. This role offers a creative environment with opportunities to influence silhouettes, materials, and storytelling across global markets.
Responsibility
- Lead the design process from concept to final product for multiple seasonal lines.
- Develop mood boards, color stories, and fabric explorations aligned with brand DNA.
- Collaborate with Product, Pattern Making, and Production teams to ensure feasibility and timely delivery.
- Oversee technical specs, fittings, and quality control of prototypes and samples.
- Present concepts to senior leadership and cross-functional partners, translating consumer insights into design decisions.
- Mentor junior designers and interns, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic direction.
- Ensure adherence to sustainability targets and material usage guidelines.
Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in fashion design, preferably in luxury or contemporary brands.
- Strong portfolio with innovative design and technical savvy (flat sketches, tech packs, CAD familiarity).
- Proficiency in fabric sourcing, color theory, and trend forecasting.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Experience leading design teams or managing projects across multiple seasons.
- Knowledge of production processes, fittings, and CAD software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO etc.).
- Highly organized with attention to detail and strong time-management.
- Fluency in English; additional French a plus.
