ArcticSea Fisheries, Inc. is seeking a skilled Fisheries Analyst to join our growing team in Anchorage, Alaska. You will help sustain healthy fish populations while supporting responsible harvesting, data-driven decisions, and community engagement.

Responsibility
- Design and implement data collection plans for stock assessments and catch monitoring across commercial and local fisheries.
- Analyze catch-per-unit-effort, stock indicators, and environmental data to inform harvest recommendations.
- Develop dashboards and reports that translate complex data into actionable guidance for managers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure high-quality data and standard operating procedures are followed.
- Support sustainable harvest strategies and compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Present findings at meetings, conferences, and with community groups to support transparent decision-making.
Qualification
- BS or MS in Marine Science, Fisheries, Ecology, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in fisheries data analysis, stock assessment, or related roles.
- Proficiency with Excel, R, Python, SQL, and GIS tools for data processing and visualization.
- Strong understanding of stock assessment methods, management frameworks, and regulatory environments (e.g., NOAA, State agencies).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings for diverse audiences.
- Experience working in field settings, data collection protocols, and quality assurance processes.
