Job description
Elburg Shipmanagement Phils Inc. is actively seeking a skilled Fourth Engineer to join our crew aboard a bulk carrier. The Fourth Engineer plays a pivotal role in the engine department, either leading the emergency engine team as directed by the Master or delivering proactive support to secure continuous, safe, and efficient propulsion and auxiliary systems. The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience with marine diesel engines, electrical systems, and watchkeeping routines, coupled with a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
As a core member of the engineering team, you will monitor engine room performance, participate in planned maintenance, and assist the Chief Engineer in preparing monthly engine reports. You will work across the engine room, coordinating with shore support when required, and maintaining inventory of spare parts and tools to minimize vessel downtime during voyages. This role offers a clear path to professional growth within a multinational fleet, exposure to state-of-the-art propulsion systems, and the opportunity to contribute to a culture of safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
Join a reputable organization that prioritizes teamwork, continuous learning, and adherence to high safety standards. If you are ready to tackle challenging assignments at sea and contribute to the smooth operation of the vessel's engine room, we would be pleased to hear from you.
