We are seeking a results-driven Franchise Development Manager to identify, recruit, and support franchisees while expanding our national footprint. This role blends B2B sales, partner development, and strategic market expansion.
In this role you will collaborate with marketing, operations, and legal teams to ensure franchisee success from discovery through launch and ongoing marketplace growth. You will own the franchise sales funnel, nurture relationships with prospective multi-unit operators, and drive sustainable network growth.
Responsibility
- Identify and qualify prospective franchise candidates, conduct discovery calls, and perform feasibility analyses for targeted territories.
- Lead the end-to-end franchise sales process from initial inquiry to agreement, onboarding, and launch planning.
- Develop and execute market expansion strategies, including territory prioritization, competitive analysis, and KPI tracking.
- Partner with marketing to craft compelling franchise opportunities and lead generation campaigns; manage inbound/outbound activities.
- Provide ongoing support to franchisees through training, operations guidance, and performance coaching to maximize unit economics.
- Monitor performance metrics, manage pipeline in CRM, and forecast growth to inform leadership decisions.
- Collaborate with legal and finance to finalize franchise agreements, payment structures, and compliance requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of franchise development, franchise sales, or multi-unit operations experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding franchise sales targets and network growth.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills with comfortable C-level interactions.
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics.
- Willingness to travel 40–60% for field visits and events.
- Knowledge of franchising laws, brand standards, and compliance basics.
