NorthStar Franchise Partners is a premium franchising company focused on sustainable, multi unit growth. We are seeking a Franchise Development Manager to lead our efforts in identifying, vetting, and onboarding new franchise partners across the United States. This is a high impact, relationship driven role suited for a strategic thinker who thrives in fast paced environments.
In this role you will partner with senior leadership to shape expansion strategy, build a robust franchise pipeline, and ensure successful onboarding of high performing partners. You will work closely with Marketing, Legal, and Field Operations to align brand standards, financial performance, and long term network value.
Responsibility
- Identify and evaluate franchise opportunities aligned with our growth plan through market research and due diligence.
- Lead deal structuring, negotiations, and the preparation of Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDD) alongside the legal team.
- Manage a multi-stage sales funnel from lead generation to close, with accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate with Marketing to design targeted campaigns, events, and workshops to attract qualified prospects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current franchisees, providing ongoing support and resources.
- Perform market analysis to identify underserved regions, competitor activity, and pricing strategy.
- Oversee onboarding and initial training for new franchisees to ensure brand alignment and operational readiness.
- Monitor performance metrics, support franchisee profitability, and enforce brand standards across the network.
Qualification
- 5+ years in franchise development, business development, or similar revenue-generating role.
- Proven track record of closing franchise deals and building scalable networks.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Experience with franchise regulatory requirements and FDD processes is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree in BUSINESS, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time and work flexible hours to accommodate prospects nationwide.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), analytics tools, and Microsoft Office.
