Responsibility
- Draft, review, and revise employment and education-related contracts in compliance with Malaysian legal standards.
- Advise clients on contract terms, legal obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Customize contract templates to fit client needs while ensuring legal robustness.
- Conduct research on local laws and regulations as relevant to education and employment sectors.
- Support due diligence processes and maintain up-to-date legal documentation.
- Communicate with stakeholders to clarify contract clauses and resolve legal queries.
- Collaborate with client teams to facilitate contract execution and onboarding processes.
- Stay informed on updates to labor law and education compliance requirements in Malaysia.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law from a recognized institution.
- Admitted to practice law in Malaysia or relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in contract law, preferably with exposure to education or employment law.
- Strong knowledge of legal frameworks governing Malaysian contracts, employment, and education industries.
- Proven ability to draft clear, concise, and legally sound documents.
- Outstanding attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote or hybrid environment.
