Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly on arrival and manage efficient check-in and check-out experiences.
- Handle reservations, room assignments, and guest preferences with accuracy and care.
- Provide information about local attractions, dining, and services; upsell hotel amenities when appropriate.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to fulfill guest requests promptly.
- Resolve guest issues with empathy and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Process payments, maintain accurate records, and handle cash and POS transactions securely.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold brand standards and safety protocols.
Qualification
- 1+ year experience in front desk or guest services in a hotel or luxury setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; collegiate coursework or hospitality certification a plus.
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (Opera, Oracle Hospitality, or similar) and MS Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; multilingual abilities a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, diplomacy, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk long distances, and work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a genuine passion for guest service.
