Syfe, a fast-growing Singapore-based fintech, is seeking a strategic Head of Talent Acquisition who will be a key architect of our growth story. Reporting to the Senior Leadership team, this role shapes the people strategy across the organization, from early-stage hires to senior leadership. You will partner with product, technology, operations, and finance to build a talent pipeline that supports product-led growth in Asia and beyond. This is a high-visibility opportunity to influence company trajectory through people and culture.
As a member of the executive team, you will design and execute a scalable TA function, implement data-driven hiring processes, and champion an inclusive culture that attracts diverse talent. You will own employer branding, campus partnerships, recruitment marketing, and strategic vendor management. The ideal candidate is hands-on, metrics-driven, and excited by the challenge of building the companys people capability in a fast-moving environment. You will collaborate closely with executives to forecast hiring needs, define competency models, and ensure competitive yet sustainable compensation approaches.
Key responsibilities include building end-to-end recruiting processes, accelerating time-to-fill while maintaining quality, and ensuring an outstanding candidate experience. You will implement an advanced applicant tracking system, recruitment analytics, and automation to scale hiring. You will foster internal mobility and succession planning, establish DEI initiatives, and lead partnerships with universities, agencies, and other external partners. Responsibility
- Define and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals and growth plans.
- Lead and mentor the TA team, building a high-performing function that partners with executives across product, technology, and operations.
- Own end-to-end recruitment processes from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
- Develop employer branding, campus engagement, recruitment marketing, and DEI initiatives to attract diverse talent in Singapore and APAC.
- Build proactive talent pipelines through data-driven workforce planning and forecasting.
- Implement and optimize ATS, recruitment tech, and analytics to improve time-to-fill and quality of hire.
- Partner with leadership on compensation benchmarking, internal mobility, and succession planning.
- Manage vendor relationships and external partnerships to scale hiring effectively.
Qualification
- 10+ years of talent acquisition or HR leadership experience, preferably in fintechs or high-growth tech environments.
- Proven track record building scalable TA functions across multiple functions, including product, engineering, data, and operations.
- Strong leadership skills with experience coaching managers and collaborating with C-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated expertise in employer branding, candidate experience, DEI, and inclusive hiring practices.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using ATS, analytics, and workforce planning tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications (SHRM, HRCI) are a plus.
