Responsibility

  • Oversee mise en place, ingredient control, and inventory to minimize waste and costs.

  • Collaborate with Head of Bakery to plan production for events, retail locations, and wholesale orders.
  • Monitor equipment maintenance and coordinate preventive maintenance with facilities.
  • Uphold brand aesthetics in product presentation, packaging, and case displays.

Qualification

  • 5+ years of professional pastry baking experience, with a focus on laminated doughs and artisanal breads.
  • Proven track record in recipe development and product innovation.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills; ability to train and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent tasting palate, attention to detail, and consistency in quality.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, and sanitation protocols.
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and flexible hours as needed.
