Responsibility

  • Ensure HR policies and practices align with local labor laws and international standards across Japan and Taiwan entities.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records in HRIS and payroll systems, safeguarding data integrity and privacy.
  • Support internal and external audits by gathering documentation, coordinating evidence, and implementing remediation plans.
  • Collaborate with payroll, legal, and operations teams to roll out policy updates and process improvements.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and provide timely guidance to HR partners on impact to policies and benefits.
  • Assist in training managers and staff on compliance policies, data privacy, and ethics expectations.
  • Prepare and analyze compliance metrics and reports for management, identifying risk areas and opportunities for optimization.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of HR compliance, HR operations, or related experience; familiarity with Philippine labor law; experience with cross-border compliance is a plus.
  • Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) and payroll applications; strong data privacy and records management skills.
  • Solid knowledge of labor laws, data protection regulations, and global compliance practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; additional language skills (Japanese, Mandarin, or Korean) are a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities; capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM, CIPM, or equivalent are advantageous.
