HF Courier Service is seeking a skilled HR professional to join our team as an HR Employee Relations specialist. This role focuses on cultivating a constructive employee relations climate through proactive policy development, compliant disciplinary processes, and effective resolution of workplace issues across Legazpi City and nearby areas. You will collaborate with management to translate policies into practical practices, ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, and support managers in delivering fair, consistent treatment for all employees while protecting organizational integrity.
As the HR Employee Relations expert, you will serve as the primary owner of complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, performance concerns, grievances, and conflicts. You will conduct confidential inquiries, document findings, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership. By balancing empathy with policy, you will help maintain a positive work environment that aligns with business objectives and reduces risk.
You will also influence policy development by reviewing current procedures, drafting updates, and delivering training to managers and staff on topics such as disciplinary standards, whistleblower channels, leave management, and accommodations. Your insights will support talent retention and engagement initiatives while ensuring consistent application of standards across the organization. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented communicator who can navigate cross-functional partnerships in a dynamic logistics setting.

Responsibility
- Lead and manage employee relations casework, including investigations, disciplinary procedures, and progressive discipline while maintaining confidentiality.
- Investigate workplace concerns, grievances, and allegations promptly with objective, well-documented findings.
- Advise managers on conflict resolution, performance management, and policy interpretations to ensure fair treatment of employees.
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in line with labor laws and company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor regulations and internal policies; monitor and report on ER metrics to leadership.
- Provide guidance on leave management, accommodations, and return-to-work processes in collaboration with HR and operations.
- Deliver training and coaching on employee relations topics and policy changes to managers and staff.
- Support organizational initiatives related to employee engagement, culture, and retention strategies.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in employee relations or HR administration, preferably in a logistics or courier environment.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to conduct fair and thorough investigations and manage sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with HRIS, case management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
