As an HR Executive, you will partner with store managers and department heads to administer HR processes, maintain accurate employee records, and ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws. You will onboard new hires, support payroll coordination, and manage attendance and leave administration. Responsibility

  • Assist end-to-end HR operations across our stores and office locations, including onboarding, payroll coordination, attendance tracking, and benefits administration.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS and ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable Malaysian laws.
  • Support talent acquisition activities by posting vacancies, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and assisting with shortlisting.
  • Coordinate learning and development, training programs, and wellness activities to support employee growth and engagement.
  • Assist in performance management processes, annual reviews, and recognition programs to drive high performance.
  • Provide timely HR guidance, respond to employee inquiries, and help maintain a positive employee experience.
  • Collaborate with store managers on HR projects, workforce planning, and store-level HR operations to support retail expansion.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics to inform management decisions and budget planning.

Qualification

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR, preferably in retail or service industries.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian Labour Law and statutory requirements, including the Employment Act 1955.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with an HRIS is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to handle confidential information and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, customer-focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
