Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for construction projects and offices, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Administer HR policies, attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and benefits in compliance with the Singapore Employment Act.
- Support performance management, probation reviews, succession planning, and staff development programs.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and investigations with transparency and discretion.
- Collaborate with project managers and site leaders on workforce planning, headcount control, and contractor management.
- Maintain accurate HRIS records, generate reports for management, and support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with safety, labor laws, and industrial relations requirements; drive training and safety awareness programs.
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives, onboarding improvements, and contribute to a culture of inclusion and high performance.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., SHRM, SPHR) are a plus.
- 2-5 years of HR experience, preferably in construction or heavy industries; recruitment experience is desirable.
- Solid knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, CPF, payroll processes, and MOM regulations; experience with payroll software is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
- Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office, and data analytics; comfortable with reporting and process improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site environment; strong organizational and time-management skills; team player.
- Experience with safety training programs and site-specific HR compliance is advantageous.
- Fluent in English; additional languages common in Singapore are beneficial.
