As an HR Intern, you will support the ELR team in case preparation, document management, research on labor standards and regulatory compliance, and assist with communications to employees and management. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates pursuing a career in human resources, labor law, or corporate compliance.
Key learning experiences include exposure to labor relations procedures, drafting and editing correspondence, tracking case progress, and leveraging HRIS tools to maintain accurate records. You will also help with data gathering for DOLE related inquiries, prepare reports, and support day to day HR activities to ensure a smooth and compliant workplace.
Responsibility
- Assist the ELR team with case documentation and file management for employee and labor related matters.
- Conduct legal and HR research on Philippine labor laws, DOLE guidelines, and regulatory updates.
- Draft and review employee communications, memos, and notices under supervision.
- Support scheduling, correspondence, and coordination for internal meetings and hearings.
- Maintain HRIS data quality, track case status, and generate routine reports.
- Support incident tracking, investigation records, and maintain confidential information with integrity.
- Collaborate with cross functional HR teams to ensure compliant processes and timely resolutions.
Qualification
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Law, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in employee relations, labor law, and DOLE compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Filipino proficiency is a plus.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with HRIS and document management systems is a plus.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and capable of working in a fast paced environment.
