Join Private Advertiser as an HR Officer with a focus on Employee Relations. You will partner with leaders and staff to cultivate a constructive, compliant, and engaging workplace in Cebu, Central Visayas. The ideal candidate blends empathy with analytical thinking, handling sensitive information with discretion while delivering practical HR solutions in a fast-paced environment.
In this full-time role, you will own end-to-end employee relations activities, from investigating concerns to advising managers on policy interpretation and disciplinary processes. You will support onboarding and offboarding, administer attendance and leave programs, and help maintain up-to-date HR policies aligned with Philippine labor laws. Your collaborative approach will help drive engagement, retention, and a positive organizational culture.
Key responsibilities include partnering with department heads to resolve workplace issues, conducting fair and thorough investigations, writing objective reports, and presenting findings to management. You will maintain accurate HR records, assist with performance management cycles, and provide data-driven insights to improve processes. You will also contribute to policy development, update the employee handbook, and support timely payroll data accuracy in coordination with our payroll function.

As part of your daily duties, you will maintain excellent stakeholder relationships, anticipate HR risks, manage multiple tasks, and apply best practices in performance management, discipline, and grievance handling. You will use HRIS tools to track data, generate reports, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
Responsibility
- Address employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and investigations, with integrity and privacy.
- Advise managers on policy interpretation and disciplinary actions, ensuring fairness and compliance with the Labor Code.
- Coordinate attendance, leave management, and return-to-work processes; ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Support onboarding, orientation, and offboarding programs to deliver a positive first and last impression for employees.
- Assist with performance management cycles, feedback processes, and employee development plans.
- Maintain and communicate up-to-date HR policies, handbook changes, and compliance with local regulations.
- Prepare HR metrics and reports for leadership, and contribute to process improvements and cost efficiencies.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, investigations, and confidential handling of sensitive information.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Code, labor standards, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; able to manage relationships across levels.
- Proficiency with HRIS, payroll coordination, and MS Office; data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; Cebu-based or willing to relocate.
- Professional certifications in HR (eg SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus but not required.
- Fluency in English; Filipino language skills are a plus.
