What youâll learn:
- End-to-end recruitment support, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
- New employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring a smooth, professional experience for new hires.
- HR data management and HRIS maintenance to ensure accurate, confidential records.
- Recruitment analytics and reporting to measure sourcing effectiveness and time-to-fill.
- Candidate sourcing through job boards, campus networks, and employee referrals.
- Administrative support for HR programs and ongoing projects to improve processes.
- Exposure to HR compliance and documentation practices in a Malaysian corporate setting.
- Cross-functional collaboration with colleagues in various departments to support business goals.
Availability & commitment: Long enough to gain meaningful experienceâideally 3 to 6 months with a full-time or near-full-time schedule suitable for a student or recent graduate.
Responsibility
- Assist with end-to-end recruitment, including posting roles, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Support new-hire onboarding processes, from document collection to orientation scheduling and welcome communications.
- Maintain and update HRIS and employee records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Help prepare recruitment metrics and reports to monitor effectiveness of sourcing channels.
- Source candidates through job boards, campus networks, and referrals; maintain talent pipeline.
- Assist with routine HR projects, policy documentation, and process improvements.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance HR operations.
Qualification
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Malay is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; comfortable working with HRIS/tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Demonstrated initiative, proactivity, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Resides in or can commute to Kuala Lumpur; availability for a minimum 3â6 month internship.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and good time-management skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and willingness to take on new challenges.
