As a trusted advisor to HR leadership, you will align compensation and benefits practices with legal requirements, oversee health insurance coordination, and drive continuous learning through policy-driven development programs. Your expertise will help minimize risk, navigate labor relations, and elevate the employee experience—from onboarding through performance management and offboarding. The role also involves collaborating with external counsel on complex matters, conducting internal audits, and spearheading process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance. Responsibility
- Oversee legal and compliance aspects of HR operations to ensure alignment with Indonesian labor law and company policy.
- Review and manage employment contracts, amendments, terminations, and records for accuracy and legality.
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies, SOPs, and guidelines to support fair and compliant people practices.
- Monitor regulatory changes and provide proactive guidance to HR and management on risk mitigation.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel for complex matters and ensure timely responses to regulatory inquiries or audits.
- Partner with payroll and benefits teams to ensure compliant compensation, health insurance, and benefits administration.
- Lead internal HR audits and control improvements to enhance process efficiency and data integrity.
- Design and deliver training on labor law, compliance, and ethical guidelines for managers and staff.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Legal Supervisor, HR Compliance lead, or similar role within Indonesia, preferably in manufacturing or large SMEs.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor law (UU Ketenagakerjaan), PKWT/PKWTT, payroll compliance, and related regulations.
- Experience with contract management, HRIS, payroll systems, and documentation control.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-Indonesia) or legal certification is a plus.
