Private Advertiser is seeking a motivated Human Resources professional to join our growing team in Mount Austin, Johor. As a Human Resources specialist, you will work across key HR functions including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance support, and compliance. You’ll help design streamlined processes that save time, improve accuracy, and enhance the employee experience. You will contribute to data-driven decision making by maintaining accurate HR records, generating basic analytics, and supporting payroll and benefits administration. We encourage experimentation with AI-powered HR solutions to improve sourcing, candidate experience, and people insights.
In this role you will collaborate with department leaders, HR colleagues, and operations to deliver practical HR solutions in a Malaysian context. You will be expected to show initiative, learn quickly, and communicate clearly with both English and Malay-speaking colleagues. You will be responsible for maintaining confidentiality and data security, ensuring compliance with Malaysia's labor laws and internal policies, and assisting with payroll coordination. Responsibility
- Handle end-to-end recruitment, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding for positions across the organization.
- Maintain and update the HRIS and personnel records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with the finance team.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans.
- Assist in policy development and ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal procedures.
- Plan and deliver employee engagement activities, training programs, and HR projects.
- Provide timely HR support to managers and employees, addressing inquiries and facilitating smooth resolutions.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-2 years of HR experience; entry-level candidates considered for growth potential.
- Knowledge of Malaysia labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency with HRIS, MS Office, and standard HR software; openness to AI-powered tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Fluent in English; Malay language skills are a plus.
