We are seeking a dynamic Indirect Tax Segment Lead to join our Asia Emerging Markets division at Thomson Reuters. As part of the AEM team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the indirect tax strategy and driving business growth in the region.
Responsibility
- Develop and implement indirect tax strategies for Asia Emerging Markets.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline tax processes and optimize tax liabilities.
- Stay abreast of tax regulations and assess their impact on business operations.
- Provide guidance on tax planning and risk management initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in indirect tax or related field.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Asian markets.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
