Responsibility

  • Develop and optimize layouts, line balancing, and work instructions to maximize efficiency and safety.
  • Conduct time and motion studies, generate standard work, and implement labor standards.
  • Own value stream mapping from procurement to production delivery and drive lead time reduction.
  • Collaborate with IT/automation to implement manufacturing execution systems and visual management tools.
  • Lead root cause analysis for quality and downtime issues and drive corrective actions.
  • Develop business cases with ROI analyses and monitor project benefits post-implementation.
  • Mentor and coach shop floor teams on continuous improvement methodologies.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; MS/PE preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments with continuous improvement responsibilities.
  • Strong proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), value stream mapping, and data analytics.
  • Experience with ERP/MES systems, CAD tools, and statistical software (Minitab, R, Python).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and KPI development; demonstrated ROI impact.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10-15% as needed.
