Job description
At ApexFlow Innovations, we redesign manufacturing processes to unlock efficiency and reliability. We seek a detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to lead data-driven optimization across assembly lines, logistics, and quality systems. You will collaborate with operations, manufacturing engineering, and supply chain teams to deliver measurable improvements in cycle time, throughput, and waste reduction.
We value hands-on problem solvers who combine Lean, Six Sigma, and data analytics to drive transformational change in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibility
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across production lines using Lean, Six Sigma, and DOE methodologies.
- Analyze process data to identify bottlenecks, optimize layouts, and improve throughput and material flow.
- Develop and implement time studies, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and validate process improvements.
- Support capacity planning, line balancing, and takt time calculations.
- Lead shop floor 5S and visual management programs; drive waste reduction and safety compliance.
- Monitor KPIs, create dashboards, and report ROI of improvement projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on optimization methods.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; master's preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing/industrial engineering, with hands-on optimization projects.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, DOE, and statistics.
- Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, Python/R) and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
- Proven track record in line balancing, capacity planning, and time studies.
- Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment; willingness to travel if needed.
- Professional certifications (CSSGB, Six Sigma Black Belt) are a plus.
