Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives using lean, Six Sigma, and data analytics to reduce cycle times and waste.
- Design and optimize layouts, standardized work, and line balancing to maximize throughput and balance capacity.
- Develop capacity planning, production scheduling, and material flow strategies to meet demand with optimal inventory levels.
- Identify, track, and drive cost reduction opportunities with measurable KPIs and ROI analyses.
- Perform time studies, work sampling, and line audits; mentor junior engineers and shop floor operators.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and maintenance teams to implement sustainable solutions.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem solving using TQM tools, 5 Whys, and DMAIC methodologies.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience with demonstrated success in process improvement.
- Strong knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma, SMED, and continuous improvement methodologies; proficiency with Minitab, Excel, and data visualization tools.
- Experience with process simulation, layout optimization, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills; proven project management ability.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in manufacturing environments.
