Responsibility

  • Lead cross-functional process improvement projects across assembly, machining, and packaging lines using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Conduct time studies, work measurement, line balancing, and capacity analysis to improve throughput.
  • Design and implement efficient production layouts, material flow, and Kanban systems to reduce waste and improve flow.
  • Analyze production data using ERP/MES and BI tools; develop dashboards to monitor KPIs and drive actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and sourcing teams to ensure On-Time Delivery and First Pass Yield improvements.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions (AC) with measurable impact on cost and quality.
  • Support capacity planning, line automation initiatives, and continuous improvement projects (Kaizen events).
  • Document standard work, train operators, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing or industrial engineering experience; Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) preferred.
  • Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel, Minitab, JMP, or Python; experience with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Experience with time studies, process mapping, line balancing, and method optimization.
  • Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles, 5S, safety compliance, and continuous improvement culture.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management abilities; ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% as needed; must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
