Responsibility
- Lead time studies and process mapping to identify bottlenecks and waste
- Design and implement production layouts, line balancing, and workstation optimization
- Develop and apply lean manufacturing techniques including 5S, Kaizen and Six Sigma to improve efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and maintenance teams to deploy robust SOPs and control plans
- Model production systems using standard tools and run simulations to evaluate alternatives
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for chronic issues
- Monitor KPIs, generate dashboards, and provide data driven recommendations
- Support capital projects from scoping to implementation and benefits tracking
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering
- Strong knowledge of process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma basics
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, or similar; SQL is a plus)
- Experience with ERP MIS systems and production scheduling
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and cross functional collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast paced environment
