Job description

We are seeking a results-driven Industrial Engineer to optimize our production and logistics operations in Dallas, TX. You will lead process improvements, data-driven decisions, and lean initiatives to enhance throughput, quality, and safety across the plant.

Responsibility

  • Conduct time studies and method improvements to reduce cycle times and labor waste.
  • Design and optimize plant layouts, line balancing, work stations, and material flow.
  • Lead lean events (kaizen, value stream mapping, 5S) and implement standardized work.
  • Analyze production data to improve OEE, throughput, quality, and cost performance.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to drive root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
  • Support capacity planning, production scheduling, and ERP data integrity to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with time studies, process mapping, value stream mapping, and line balancing.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, Tableau, or similar) and problem-solving approaches.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and production planning processes.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project-management skills with a track record of delivering results.
  • Industrial safety-minded with knowledge of quality standards; Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification preferred.
