Job description
NovaForge Industries is seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to drive continuous improvement across our production floors. This role blends data-driven analysis with hands-on optimization to maximize throughput, quality, and safety.
As part of our team, you'll collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to design and implement efficient processes that reduce waste and cycle times.
Responsibility
- Lead time studies and process mapping to identify bottlenecks across production lines.
- Design and implement standardized work, takt times, and line layouts to improve throughput and reduce waste.
- Conduct root cause analysis using data analytics and Six Sigma tools to drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, QA, and supply chain to roll out corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Develop and track KPIs (throughput, OEE, scrap rate, cycle time) and report progress to leadership.
- Lead kaizen events and shop-floor coaching to sustain gains and develop operators.
- Support ERP data integrity and bill of process for accurate planning and production scheduling.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 4+ years of hands-on industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt or higher a plus).
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, JMP) and problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience with value stream mapping, time studies, line balancing, and process optimization.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and manufacturing execution systems.
- Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and project management skills.
