Join NovaCore Manufacturing as a Senior Industrial Engineer and drive operating excellence across our production floors. You will lead data-driven process improvements, champion lean methodologies, and collaborate with operations, quality, and supply chain teams to deliver measurable performance gains.
In this hands-on role, you will utilize digital analytics, simulation tools, and continuous improvement frameworks to optimize material flow, line layouts, and capacity planning.
Responsibility
- Lead cross-functional process improvement projects to reduce cycle times, waste, and variability on manufacturing lines
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and DOE methodologies to diagnose root causes and implement sustainable solutions
- Develop and maintain standard work, line layouts, and takt time calculations to optimize throughput
- Lead time studies, value stream mapping, and capacity planning to support production scheduling
- Collaborate with quality and maintenance teams to drive defect reduction and equipment reliability
- Build and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to track progress and sustain gains
- Mentor junior engineers and support a culture of continuous improvement
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of manufacturing or plant-floor experience in a discrete manufacturing environment
- Strong proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, JMP) and problem-solving methodologies
- Experience with DOE, Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher), and value stream mapping
- Familiarity with MES/ERP systems (e.g., SAP), CAD tools, and manufacturing simulations
- Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to travel up to 15% as needed
