Join NovaForge Industries, a leader in precision manufacturing, at our Houston facility. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Production Engineer to optimize operations, improve quality, and drive safety and efficiency across production lines.
As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will apply Lean and Six Sigma methods to reduce waste, enhance throughput, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
Responsibility
- Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals.
- Analyze and optimize line layouts, work flows, and line balancing to improve throughput.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM.
- Manage production scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation across shifts.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Quality teams to minimize downtime and drive root-cause investigations.
- Lead new product introductions (NPI) and line changeovers with minimal disruption.
- Monitor KPIs, prepare performance reports, and drive corrective actions as needed.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in an industrial production environment, preferably in mid- to large-scale manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- Proficiency with data analytics, SPC, MSA, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and lead cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards (OSHA, ISO 9001); Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus.
