In this role, you will oversee production planning, capacity utilization, line balancing, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple shifts. You will partner with engineering, quality, supply chain, and maintenance to ensure on-time delivery and superior product quality.

Responsibility

  • Lead and manage daily production operations across multiple shifts to meet output targets and quality standards.
  • Develop and execute production schedules, capacity planning, and line balancing to optimize throughput.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies to reduce waste and downtime.
  • Monitor KPIs (OEE, yield, scrap, downtime) and implement corrective actions to sustain performance gains.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (OSHA, ISO 9001) across all shifts.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to optimize equipment performance and reduce breakdowns.
  • Lead talent development, training, and performance management for production teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and cross-functional teamwork to deliver best-in-class products.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of production management experience in manufacturing or industrial production settings.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM); experience with 5S and standard work.
  • Proven track record of improving OEE, throughput, and quality while reducing scrap and downtime.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MES; data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards (OSHA, ISO 9001) and a commitment to safeguarding employees.
