We are seeking a proactive Industrial Production Supervisor to optimize line performance, safety, and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As a key member of the operations team, you will oversee daily production on assigned lines, coordinate staffing, monitor machine health, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase throughput and reduce waste. You will partner with maintenance, quality, and supply chain to ensure on-time delivery and first-pass yield targets.

Responsibility

  • Oversee daily production on assigned lines to meet safety, quality, and throughput targets.
  • Lead shift teams, schedule operators, manage attendance, and coordinate training.
  • Implement Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce waste, downtime, and variability.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance to plan preventive maintenance and minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Analyze production data, monitor KPIs, and drive root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Enforce safety policies, ensure a clean, organized work environment, and cultivate a culture of safe production.
  • Support new product introductions, process changes, and capital projects with cross-functional teams.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or 5+ years of proven production leadership experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MES tools; data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities; proficiency in root-cause analysis and corrective actions (5 Whys, fishbone, etc.).
  • Familiarity with safety regulations (OSHA) and a commitment to a culture of safety and quality.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts and lift up to 50 lbs when required; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
