Responsibility
- Advise clients on patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret matters globally.
- Draft, review, and prosecute patent and trademark applications.
- Perform IP due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and licensing deals.
- Assist with enforcement actions, infringement analysis, and litigation support.
- Negotiate and draft licensing, joint development, and confidentiality agreements.
- Monitor regulatory changes and conduct IP risk assessments for client businesses.
- Supervise junior associates and collaborate with paralegals for case management.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring top-tier service delivery.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- 3+ years of experience in intellectual property law at a top firm or in-house.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. and international IP law and filing procedures.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills focused on business objectives.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
- Technical background (STEM degree) highly preferred.
