As a Production Support Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for production incidents, performing triage, root cause analysis, and implementing fixes in a controlled, compliant manner. You will participate in on-call rotations, manage change requests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service levels and business objectives are met. The ideal candidate combines strong technical troubleshooting with excellent communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and a bias for automation and process improvement. This position offers exposure to modern monitoring platforms, incident management tools, and continuous improvement programs in a dynamic financial services environment.

Key responsibilities include monitoring application health, analyzing logs, tuning performance, validating releases, and maintaining robust runbooks. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and excited about supporting critical financial applications in production, you will thrive in this role at Luxoft.

  • Respond to, triage, and investigate production incidents; perform root cause analysis and implement durable fixes.

  • Manage on-call rotations and communicate status, impact, and resolution to stakeholders.
  • Participate in release validation, change management, and risk assessment processes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR).
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory requirements, and audit trails.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3+ years of production support or application support experience, preferably within Banking & Financial Services.

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
  • Scripting or automation experience (Python, Shell, PowerShell) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and on-call stakeholders.
