We are seeking a results-driven Team Lead for Private Banking in Singapore to lead a high-performing advisory team serving high-net-worth clients. In this role, you will blend strategic client coverage, senior relationship management, and risk-aware wealth planning to deliver bespoke banking solutions that align with each client's goals and risk profile.
As the Team Lead, you will mentor and coach a team of relationship managers, set performance targets, and shape the client experience from first contact to ongoing portfolio review. You will drive revenue growth by expanding wallet share, cross-selling investment, lending, trust, and advisory products, while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and risk governance. This role requires close collaboration with product specialists, credit, operations, and compliance teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of private banking relationship managers to deliver holistic wealth solutions to high-net-worth clients in Singapore.
- Develop and execute client acquisition and retention strategies to grow assets under management and cross-sell across investment, lending, and fiduciary services.
- Own senior client relationships, providing strategic advisory, portfolio reviews, and customized financial planning.
- Ensure strict adherence to KYC/AML, regulatory requirements, and internal risk controls; oversee credit assessment for private clients.
- Collaborate with product partners, risk, and operations to deliver timely, compliant solutions and seamless client experience.
- Monitor performance metrics, revenue generation, and portfolio profitability; implement improvements to service quality and client satisfaction.
- Recruit, coach, and develop talent; foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; professional certifications (CFA, CFP, CIM) preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in private banking or wealth management, with a proven record of leading teams and achieving targets in Singapore or similar markets.
- Strong client relationship management skills with a track record of engaging high-net-worth individuals.
- Solid knowledge of KYC/AML, regulatory requirements, credit risk assessment, and risk governance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities; ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency with digital wealth platforms, CRM tools, and financial planning software; fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
