Golden Flour Bakery is seeking a Lead Baker to craft artisanal breads and pastries in a fast-paced environment in Los Angeles, CA. You will lead production, mentor teammates, and help shape our signature lineup.

Responsibility
- Lead daily production of artisan breads, croissants, and pastries with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Develop and refine dough recipes, fermentation schedules, and bake times to achieve brand standards.
- Train and mentor junior bakers; oversee shift staffing and task delegation.
- Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and HACCP practices across all stations.
- Monitor inventory, order ingredients, and minimize waste through effective production planning.
- Collaborate with the Pastry Chef on seasonal offerings and menu development.
- Ensure products are presented to the highest quality and brand presentation standards.
Qualification
- 5+ years of professional baking experience in a fast-paced bakery or restaurant.
- Proficient in dough handling, fermentation, sourdough, laminating, and oven management.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience training and guiding a team.
- Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Food safety certification (ServSafe) preferred; willingness to obtain if needed.
- Creative palate with attention to detail in flavor, texture, and presentation.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs; flexible to early morning shifts.
