Harborview University invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in the Department of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction to undergraduate and graduate students and contribute to curriculum development and student mentorship.

Responsibility

- Deliver high-quality instruction across assigned courses, including lectures, labs, and seminars. \n
- Design, update, and align curricula with program outcomes and assessment methods. \n
- Develop inclusive, accessible learning experiences for diverse student populations. \n
- Assess student learning using a variety of methods and provide timely feedback. \n
- Advise and mentor students, including supervision of capstone or senior projects as applicable. \n
- Engage in service activities within the department and university committees. \n
- Collaborate with colleagues on pedagogy, interdisciplinary initiatives, and scholarship of teaching and learning. \n
- Pursue ongoing professional development and participate in assessment and accreditation activities. \n
Qualification

- Master's degree in a relevant field; PhD or ABD status preferred. \n
- Demonstrated college teaching experience with a track record of student success. \n
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage diverse learners. \n
- Experience with inclusive and equitable teaching practices and accessibility standards. \n
- Proficiency with learning management systems and teaching technologies (LMS, online/blended formats). \n
- Ability to design and assess learning outcomes and contribute to program assessment. \n
- Commitment to collegial collaboration, service, and ongoing professional development. \n
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States. \n
