Responsibility
- Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on labs for undergraduate and graduate CS courses.
- Develop and update syllabi, assessments, and course materials aligned with program outcomes.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments and exams.
- Mentor and advise students, including supervision of capstone projects and research assistants.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design, program assessment, and accreditation activities.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and service responsibilities.
- Engage in scholarly activity and professional development to advance teaching excellence.
Qualification
- PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field; ABD considered with demonstrated research progress.
- Evidence of effective teaching at the postsecondary level; experience with diverse learner populations.
- Strong mastery of core CS subjects and current industry practices.
- Experience with curriculum development, active learning strategies, and assessment design.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
