Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality lectures and seminars in Computer Science, designing inclusive, outcome-focused curricula.
- Develop and assess assignments, projects, and exams; provide timely, constructive feedback to students.
- Collaborate with faculty to enhance program curricula, lab experiences, and interdisciplinary initiatives.
- Mentor and advise undergraduate and graduate students; supervise senior projects and theses as appropriate.
- Employ active learning and diverse instructional strategies; integrate modern educational technology and scalable online resources.
- Engage in scholarly activities, present at conferences, and contribute to departmental research projects.
- Contribute to program evaluation, accreditation processes, and service on committees as required.
Qualification
- PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field or substantial professional experience with demonstrated teaching excellence.
- Evidence of effective teaching in higher education; experience with student mentoring or supervision.
- Strong grasp of core CS concepts and current industry trends; ability to teach across multiple levels of study.
- Proficiency with learning management systems (Canvas, Blackboard, or similar) and modern educational technologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills; commitment to inclusivity and accessibility in teaching.
- Experience mentoring diverse student populations; ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Active engagement in scholarly activities or industry collaboration; willingness to supervise student research projects.
