Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate courses in data science, machine learning, and related topics.
- Design innovative syllabi, assessments, and learning experiences aligned with program outcomes.
- Advise and mentor students on coursework, projects, and career development.
- Lead and participate in curriculum development to maintain relevance with industry and research trends.
- Assess student learning, provide timely feedback, and participate in program review processes.
- Collaborate with faculty across departments on interdisciplinary projects and grant proposals.
- Engage with industry partners for internships, capstone projects, and real-world case studies.
- Participate in service commitments, faculty governance, and outreach activities to promote the university’s mission.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related field; PhD preferred for senior lectureships.
- Demonstrated excellence in university-level teaching, with a strong portfolio of course materials and student outcomes.
- Experience with data analytics tools (Python, R, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data visualization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to inclusive teaching.
- Ability to mentor student research projects and contribute to scholarly activities.
- Experience with curriculum design and assessment methodologies.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration with industry partners.
