PT Daaz Bara Lestari is seeking a proactive Legal Supervisor to join our Jakarta team. In this role, you will oversee all licensing, regulatory compliance, and critical legal documentation to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and coordinate with external counsel, regulators, and government agencies to ensure timely filings and full compliance with Indonesian laws.
As a key partner to senior management, you will review contracts, manage corporate governance materials, maintain an organized repository of legal documents, and develop practical compliance programs that minimize risk while enabling business growth. You will lead licensing renewals, permits, and registrations across the organization, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on-time submissions. Your ability to translate complex legal requirements into actionable guidance will help the company navigate regulatory changes with confidence.
Ideal candidates are detail-oriented problem solvers with strong communication and negotiation skills, fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, and a solid understanding of Indonesian corporate and licensing frameworks. Responsibility
- Manage company licenses, permits, and regulatory filings; monitor expiration dates and coordinate renewals with relevant agencies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, vendor agreements, and internal policies; ensure legal risk is mitigated.
- Oversee corporate governance duties, maintain statutory registers, and prepare board and shareholder materials.
- Liaise with external counsel and government agencies to address inquiries, registrations, and compliance reporting.
- Develop and implement internal compliance programs (anti-corruption, data privacy, risk management) aligned with Indonesian laws.
- Advise management on the legal implications of business decisions, strategic initiatives, and partnerships.
- Maintain a centralized legal documents repository; ensure document control, privacy, and retention policies.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; Indonesian Advocate license preferred.
- 3-7 years of relevant legal/compliance experience in corporate or regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian corporate law, licensing requirements, and regulatory filings.
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills; meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English; strong communication and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with risk management, compliance frameworks, and data privacy/anti-corruption standards.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
