As a Compiler, you will help prepare and organize clearance documents, review shipment data for accuracy, and ensure all shipments comply with Philippine customs regulations. You will assist with tariff classification, valuation, and the calculation of duties and taxes, while preparing import and export entries. Your daily responsibilities include coordinating with carriers and government agencies, tracking clearance status, and maintaining meticulous digital records to support audits and routine reporting. You will also contribute to process improvements by identifying bottlenecks and helping implement better data handling and ERP workflows.

Responsibility
- Assist licensed customs brokers by preparing and compiling clearance documents for import and export shipments.
- Review shipment data for accuracy and compliance with Philippine customs laws and tariff classification guidelines.
- Support tariff classification, valuation, and calculation of duties and taxes for each shipment.
- Prepare and submit import and export entries in the ERP system, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and government agencies to facilitate clearances.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records and support internal and external audits.
- Monitor clearance status, resolve discrepancies, and escalate issues as needed to avoid delays.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying bottlenecks and participating in documentation quality initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, international trade, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or regulatory compliance.
- Strong familiarity with Philippine customs regulations, HS classification, valuation, and clearance processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems; experience with data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good written and verbal communication in English; collaborative team player with a customer service mindset.
- Certification as a licensed customs broker or progress toward certification is preferred.
- Discretion and ability to handle sensitive documents securely in a deadline driven environment.
